Homecoming Dance

So last night was the Homecoming Dance.
Clarissa looked so cutie.

When we got home from Idaho. Clarissa found her room with a giant spider web. She was being asked to Kearns Homecoming.

Victor/Driggs Idaho

We left Thursday night to go to Victor & Driggs Idaho.


We stayed in this cabin it was really nice. It belongs to a friend of Bill's

There is 6 queen size beds , two sets of bunk beds and a hide a bed. So everyone had a bed which was great no one had to sleep on the floor. There is a pond/spring next to the house where everyone could go fishing. Jack was the first to catch one he was so exicted. I think Dad was just as proud as Jack was.

Friday the day was beautiful. Bennett heard about this waterfall so we went to find it. Mesa falls is awesome. I don't remember ever being on the top of a waterfall before. It was amazing!! Here we are at the over look of the falls. It was a little bothersome but I was ok if I didn't look down, only straight out.



At night we played all kinds of games till 2:00 in the morning.

Saturday it rained most of the day so they did some more fishing. So those who didn't catch a fish on Friday did Saturday. Later in the day the rain slowed some so a few of us took a ride over to Jackson Hole and the Teton National Park to look for animals. We saw deers that were just off of the trail that we were on maybe 20 feet. We saw some elk way off in the fields. My little camera just doesn't magnify far enough to get pictures. Bennett got some really good pictures of the elk. So if you want to see them check out their blog. It was so amazing to be able to hear the elk call back and forth to each other. We were so far way I didn't think we would be able to hear them.


Here we are getting ready to look for moose. Bennett wanted to get a picture of a moose so bad. He was able to find three, two cows and one bull. I didn't go up as close as the rest did. So again go see Bennett's pictures.



As you can see the scenery is just gorgeous!!! Katie and I think it just might have been the best part.

Brent's passion

Brent LOVES to fly. He's taking pilot lessons and going to school to be able to work on planes. A few Saturdays ago his class went to Heber City to bring back to the school a jet plane. When they were all done his friend Bob let Brent fly them home (Bob is his trainer).

Soccer

Clarissa is playing soccer for the

Kearns High School Junior Versity Team.

She really enjoys playing soccer.

Her number is 27.

Bear Lake

Saturday we all went up to Bear Lake. Katie & Bennett

met us there,now that they live in Logan they are only

an hour away.

Jack wanted to play in the water, he would get

really cold so he'd want to get out ,wrap up in a towel,

sit on mine or Grandpa's lap till he warmed up again,

then back our into the water he would go.

Bennett is really good at getting you in to the water before

(or if you even wanted to) you are ready. That is what happen to Amanda

& Clarissa. Only Clarissa tried to run away. It didn't work he got her anyway.

After we left Bear Lake we went to see Bennnett & Katie's new apartment. It's really nice. Katie has pictures of it on her blog if you would like to see it. They fix a very nice dinner for everyone before we went home. I really don't know what Eddie & Grandpa were think but it looks as if they were thnking the same thing. It was a great day!!

Gazebo

It's done!!! I think Brent did a great job. He built the gazebo without any plans just right out of his head.

At the Zoo

We went to the Zoo Thursday for yearly trip. This is everyone in front of the waterfall at the front of the Zoo. Amnda and Jack watching the giraffes.

They have really changed the zoo. There is now a window so you can see the rinos upclose. The tiger now has a swimming pool that He seems to really like he was sitting it all the time we were there.
